Managing Your Subscription
This guide covers everything you need to know about managing your GenX subscription, including upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations.
Subscription Plans
GenX offers three tiers:

How to Subscribe
- Go to Pricing
- Select your preferred plan
- Click "Subscribe" or "Buy Now"
- Complete payment through Stripe
- Your subscription is activated immediately
Managing Your Subscription
Access Subscription Settings
Navigate to Settings → Billing to:
- View current plan
- See next billing date
- Update payment method
- Download invoices
- Manage subscription
Upgrading Your Plan
To upgrade:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Select your new plan
- Confirm and pay
When upgrading:
- Change takes effect immediately
- You're charged the prorated difference
- New credits are added to your balance
Downgrading Your Plan
To downgrade:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Change Plan"
- Select a lower tier
- Confirm the change
When downgrading:
- Change takes effect at next billing cycle
- Current benefits continue until then
- No partial refunds for unused time
Canceling Your Subscription
To cancel:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
- (Optional) Provide feedback
After canceling:
- Access continues until billing period ends
- You'll be moved to the free tier
- Existing credits remain until they expire
Payment Management
Updating Payment Method
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Update Payment Method"
- Enter new card details
- Save changes
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We'll retry automatically
- You'll receive email notifications
- Update your payment method if needed
- Service continues for a grace period
Invoices
Download invoices:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Billing History"
- Download individual invoices
Refund Policy
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days if:
- You haven't used more than 100 credits
- It's your first subscription
- You contact support within 14 days
How to Request a Refund
- Email support@genx.art
- Include your account email
- Provide reason for refund
- Allow 5-7 business days for processing
Non-Refundable Items
- Credit packages (after purchase)
- Subscriptions after 14 days
- Partial month/year refunds

Can I pause my subscription?
Currently, we don't offer pause functionality. You can cancel and resubscribe when ready.
What happens to my videos if I cancel?
Your generated videos remain accessible in your account. You can download them anytime.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
Yes, you can switch at any time. The change takes effect at your next billing date.
Do you offer student or nonprofit discounts?
Contact support@genx.art with verification for potential discounts.
What happens if my card expires?
Update your payment method before expiration to avoid service interruption.
